Our Mission

FVI is a non-profit Christian organization that exists to meet the physical, social, spiritual and emotional needs of the poor worldwide.

Welcome to Fruit of the Vine International!

Knowing that we have been called to be hands and feet of Christ, incarnating His love especially those considered disadvantaged, FVI continues to grow in finding ways of connecting givers and recipients to meet the needs to the poor worldwide.

The growing AIDS/HIV rate, famines, increases in poverty and high employment in many countries have left many families in a high level of stress. Many children have been orphaned and/or forced to fend for themselves and community resources are being stretched beyond their limit. The numbers we are presented with daily can be too overwhelming to comprehend.

In the face of this, the encouragement of our Lord remains, "...I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me..." -Matt 25:40

At FVI, we are committed to serving the Lord in serving those doing this important work. The difference we make will be measured by that one child, one adult, one institution or one community that is touched. Their challenges, victories and new opportunities are ours to share through prayer, giving or going.

If you would like more information about the work of FVI, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you and thank you very much for visiting our website.

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR ANNUAL BANQUET THAT WAS ON JULY 31ST, 2010

Our Purpose is to:
  • Bring sustainable interventions with long term effects.
  • Assess the latent capacity of those receiving help and provide supports that move them from a place of being ongoing recipients to being participants in their future. This is accomplished through constant support, evaluation and mutually agreed upon objectives.
  • Build capacity: We seek to build capacity for the future by leaving communities empowered to serve as agents of change and able to use homegrown solutions.
"Through FVI we are seeing God seeking workers in need of moving toward a desired, sustainable path being linked with God seeking givers and both are seeing amazing results. FVI is acting as a catalyst of this blessing and it is exciting to be part of this God-driven process."
-Mary Kishoiyian, Board Chair
